I am currently letting go of several insurance companies, due to my desire to provide appropriate treatment...and to be allowed to provide what I feel is good therapy. As a result, I will significantly reduce my rates to the insurance panels rate. As a result, this will not impact the client financially....but the client will gain anonymity and the ability to utilize counseling/mental health as needed.
BAUD Therapy $100 for initial session (55 minutes), followed by $60 (30 minutes) or $100 (50 minutes). Insurance does not cover BAUD.
Individual Therapy and sandtray therapy (50 minutes) $100 (unless utilizing benefits appropriate to insurance)
I am on most insurance panels, but insurance normally only pays a portion of the sessions and those with deductibles will be responsible for full payment. A minimum $50 is due at each session, but insurance will be billed and you will be reimbursed if there is an overpayment.
Letters begin at a rate of $150. Copies of session notes begin at a rate of $100.
I am not an expert in child custody disputes and, when working with children, my goal is to provide a safe environment, not to assist a parent in a custody dispute. As a result, I highly discourage any parent from taking their child to see me with the goal of having me testify in court. Unfortunately, some parents will find a way to mandate my testifying in court. Anything court related must include legal paperwork requiring my participation. Anything requiring my participation in court (child custody disputes, etc) will require me to clear my schedule for that day and will be billed at $1000 per day paid in full prior to the court date. If I am mandated to provide progress notes for child custody/divorce disputes, the rate for progress notes is $500. It is important to note that I keep all progress notes very brief in order to avoid being involved in such custody/divorce disputes and, again, to provide an atmosphere of trust for the children I work with.
